AI automation for small and growing businesses

Put AI to work in your business.

From connecting the tools you already use to AI agents that take on multi-step work, we design and build it around your team, starting with one pilot.

  • Built by engineers from banking and payments
  • You own everything we build
  • Works with the tools you already use

01

Where is your team losing time?

These are common places small businesses lose hours each week. Each card has a short worked example. The examples are illustrative and are not client results.

01

Enquiries and replies

New enquiries sit unanswered until someone has a spare minute, and some never get a reply.

Illustrative example: A web enquiry arrives at 9pm. It gets a short reply with your prices and a booking link, and it is logged in your CRM. Anything unusual is flagged for a person to answer in the morning.

02

Quotes and job admin

Quotes are typed up from scratch and job details get copied between forms, spreadsheets and group chats.

Illustrative example: A customer fills in a job form. A draft quote is built from your price list and waits for you to check it and press send.

03

Invoices and paperwork

Someone retypes invoice details into the accounts system and spends Friday chasing late payers.

Illustrative example: A supplier invoice lands in the inbox. The details are read and a draft bill is created in your accounts software. A person checks anything that does not match the order.

04

Reports and alerts

The weekly numbers take half a morning to pull together from different systems.

Illustrative example: Every Monday at 7am, last week's sales and overdue invoices arrive in one email. If a figure looks wrong, you get a message.

05

Not on this list?

If your problem is not listed, ask anyway. If it is a task your team repeats, part of it can often be automated. If automation is the wrong fix, we will say so.

03

How we work.

  1. 01

    A free workflow review

A 30-minute call. Tell us what takes too long and we say plainly whether it is worth automating.

  2. 02

    A small pilot

One problem, about two weeks, and an agreed way to tell if it worked.

  3. 03

    Roll out what works

Fixed prices for builds, and monthly support if you want it.

  4. 04

    Low running costs

We use the tools you already pay for where we can. Any running costs are billed to you directly, at cost.

Who we work with

Small and growing businesses with repeat admin to hand off. We work across most industries. If you can describe the problem, we can usually help.

  • Service and operations businesses
  • Product and software teams
  • Professional and office-based firms
  • Charities and community organisations

03b

A pilot you can measure.

Every project starts with one workflow. Before any work begins, we agree how we will judge it. At the end we look at the results together and you decide whether to scale it up or stop.

  1. 01

    Agree the measures

Before any work starts, we write down what success looks like, such as hours saved each week or the monthly running cost.

  2. 02

    Run the pilot

We build one workflow on your real work, usually in about two weeks, with a person checking the output.

  3. 03

    Review the results

We compare what happened with the measures we agreed, and show you what worked and what did not.

  4. 04

    Scale or stop

If it pays its way, we quote a fixed price to roll it out. If it does not, you stop there.

If the pilot doesn't earn its keep, we'll tell you, and you stop there.

Free workflow review

Start with a free 30-minute workflow review.

  1. You tell us about the job that eats your week.
  2. We ask how it works today and which tools you use.
  3. We tell you plainly whether it is worth automating, and roughly what a pilot would cost.
  4. If it makes sense, we suggest what a pilot should measure. There is no obligation to go ahead.

04

AI training and implementation.

Service

Get your team using AI on their actual work.

Buying a licence is easy. The hard part is knowing which tool to use for which job and how to ask it for something useful. Without that, most licences sit unused after the first month.

We run a practical session with your team, set the tools up around how you already work, and check in over the following weeks to help with questions as people start using it.

What you get

Training your team will use.

Sessions for owners and staff, help choosing and setting up tools, and some hands-on setup so your team saves time in the first week. It works well alongside an automation pilot.

05

Our work.

Our team has built banking, payments and healthcare platforms, including work for an FCA-regulated bank. We bring the same care to automation, so what we build is secure, documented and owned by you.

Example: an AI operating system for short lets and boutique hotels

The problem

A growing portfolio run by text message

A dozen short-let properties, with plans for unstaffed boutique hotels. Cleaners were assigned by text each morning, late checkouts and early check-ins were easy to miss, checklists were on paper and every fault landed on the owner's phone.

Pilot, weeks 1 to 4

Prove it on one site first

A daily cleaning plan pulled from the booking system, with early check-ins first and late checkouts last, sent to cleaners by SMS. A dashboard for the operations lead, a digital room checklist with photos and restock alerts, and faults sent straight to the right tradesperson.

Phase two

Guests looked after without a front desk

Online booking and self check-in with door codes. An AI phone and chat concierge that answers guest questions day and night and hands anything urgent to a person. Paid late checkouts and extras, room service orders and review replies.

Phase three

One command centre for the whole business

The back office: rent and rates, maintenance scheduling, utilities, supplier invoices and owner reports, with ads and content on top. Everything shows on one dashboard, and anything involving money or safety waits for a person to approve it.

Built on the tools the client already uses, with low running costs. Each phase only goes ahead once the last one is working.

06

Also on offer.

Most clients start with automation. If you need more, we also offer part-time technology leadership and custom software.

06a

Fractional CTO.

Service

Senior technology leadership on a retainer.

Some companies need more than one automation project. They need a senior person to set technical direction, help with hiring, keep delivery on track and decide where AI fits.

Our fractional CTO service is usually two to four days a month for a fixed fee. We work with your existing engineers and do not sell open-ended staffing.

Best suited to

Growing teams that need a senior lead.

Founders who are not ready for a full-time CTO, and businesses whose software has outgrown its first version. We start by talking through the decisions you need help with, then agree a monthly fee.

06b

Custom software.

Service

Software built around how you work.

Sometimes connecting existing tools will not solve it. You need an internal system, a customer-facing product or some code that ties several systems together.

We design and build it with a clear scope and fixed-price stages where we can. You own the code and the documentation at the end.

Best suited to

When off-the-shelf tools run out.

Teams that have outgrown spreadsheets and patched-together tools, or founders who need a secure first version of a product. We agree what you need, then what to build first.

07

Common questions.

How much does AI automation cost for a small business?

Our packages start from £495 for an Automation Audit and from £2,500 for a two-week Automation Sprint. An AI Front Desk starts from £3,500 to set up plus £300 a month, and a Care Plan starts from £400 a month. The final price depends on scope, and we agree it in writing before any work starts. Software subscriptions are billed to you at cost.

How long does an AI automation project take?

A pilot on one workflow usually takes about two weeks. An audit is delivered within five working days. Larger rollouts are planned in stages once the pilot has shown it works.

What happens to our data?

We use your existing systems where we can and only connect what the workflow needs. Before we build anything, we agree with you where data is stored and which AI services can see it, with UK GDPR in mind. Where a mistake would matter, a person reviews the output before anything goes out.

Do we need technical staff?

No. We build, test and document the workflow, then hand it over with a recorded walkthrough. Your team needs to know how to check the output and who to contact if something changes. A Care Plan covers ongoing upkeep if you would rather not deal with it.

Can you train our staff to use AI?

Yes. We run practical AI training for owners and staff, based on the work your team actually does. It can be a standalone session or run alongside an automation pilot, with follow-up help as people start using the tools.

Do you work outside Liverpool and Warrington?

Yes. We are based between Liverpool and Warrington and work with businesses across the North West, including Manchester and Chester, and with clients elsewhere in the UK. Most of the work is done remotely, and we can come to you for workshops.

What if our problem is not on your list?

Ask anyway. If it is a task your team repeats, there is a good chance part of it can be automated. If automation is not the right fix, we will tell you.

How do we get started?
